Before the first cut
- Clamp the workpiece; never freehand short offcuts.
- Use a stop block for repeated lengths, measured long point to long point.
- Scrap-test every new angle and one full face before batch cutting.
- Eyes and ears on. Fingers outside the no-go zone.
- LED or low-voltage lighting only. No candles, no hot bulbs near fabric.
